Why this exists
Most people have never had it looked at. Not once.
Ask a homeowner when their electrical system was last inspected and most of them will tell you it was whenever they bought the house, if it happened at all. Some of these houses were wired before anyone owned a microwave.

A roof leaks. A furnace groans. Wiring gives you nothing at all, right up until the moment it does.

Once a year, somebody actually looks
Most companies say “free inspection” and send someone to glance at your panel. An electrician walks your main panel, wiring, outlets, attic and basement against a written checklist. Everything he finds gets a rating, so you know where you stand before you have to do anything about it.
Red
A safety or code problem. This one needs to get fixed.
Yellow
Wearing out but not urgent. Worth planning for on your terms, not at nine on a Sunday.
Green
In good shape. Nothing for you to do, and now you actually know that.
You get a one-page written report with photographs of anything we flag, not a verbal “you should probably.” Everything needing attention comes back sorted into what you must fix, what you should fix, and what you could do if you want to. Then you decide. Nothing gets done that day unless you say so.

Membership runs about $120 a year, and the annual wellness check is included. The member discounts come on top of that.
Questions about the plan
What do I get for the monthly fee?
First call on the schedule, an electrician walking your whole house once a year against a written checklist with a one-page report, and exclusive member discounts on certain products and services.
Is the inspection really the whole house?
Yes: main panel, wiring, outlets, attic and basement. Everything he finds gets a red, yellow or green rating so you know what needs fixing now, what can wait, and what is fine.
Can I join the plan while a technician is at my house?
Yes. Tell your technician you want the plan and we will set you up while we are there.
What happens if I move?
The plan can move with you if you stay in our service area, or transfer to the new owner of the house.
Does the discount apply to a panel upgrade?
It can. Member discounts apply to certain products and services, so ask when you enroll and we will tell you what applies to your job. See all four services.
